For service businesses on the Front Range
Every missed call is a job that went to someone else.
Spend less time on scheduling, follow-up, and paperwork — and more time on the work that actually grows your business. Nexus & Native builds affordable tools sized for service businesses, from HVAC and electrical to cleaning and landscaping — not enterprise software you'll never fully use.
The phone gets answered. The follow-up happens. The review comes in. You get back to the work.

You're too busy running the business to grow it
You didn't start your company to spend your nights writing proposals and your weekends chasing customers who already said yes. But that's where the hours go — answering phones, following up, meaning to ask for reviews you never get around to requesting. And the call you miss on a Tuesday afternoon quietly becomes someone else's job.
Why nothing fits
Most software was never built for a business your size
It's priced and scaled for companies ten times bigger — too expensive to justify, too complicated to bother with, too disconnected from how a real service business actually runs. So you're left choosing between tools that don't fit and no tools at all, while good people burn out on repetitive, low-value work.
What we do
We put the busywork on autopilot — and hand you back the time
No enterprise platform to reorganize your business around. We set up a handful of systems that quietly handle the work nobody has time for — and we set them up to sound like you.
Catch every call
When you can't pick up, the caller gets a text back in seconds — not a voicemail they'll never leave. The conversation keeps going, and the job stays yours.
Follow up on every lead
The proposal you sent last week, the customer still deciding, the client who's due for their next service call — the follow-up happens on its own, on schedule, until you get an answer.
Earn the reviews you've earned
After every job, the right customer gets asked at the right moment — so your reputation online finally matches the work you actually do.
Keep your systems in sync
Your calendar, your customer list, your booking — talking to each other instead of living in three places and somebody's memory.
Your number stays your number. Your website stays your website. Your customers stay yours — always. The automations are the only thing you're renting.
How it works
Three steps, no leap of faith
-
A straight conversation
Thirty minutes, free, no pitch. You tell us where your week goes and where the leads are slipping. If we can't help, we'll tell you — honestly.
-
We set it up around you
We build the systems to fit how your shop already runs and how you already talk, then test every path before a single customer touches it. About two hours of your time, total.
-
We stick around
We don't hand you a login and disappear. We watch how it's working, fix what's clunky, and adjust as your business changes. You always have one real person to call — the same one.

About us
Rooted here — not selling from a distance
Small business owners in service industries and skilled trades are trapped working in their business instead of on it — answering phones, scheduling appointments, writing proposals, chasing follow-ups. Whether you're a property manager, landscape company, realtor, HVAC contractor, electrician, or roofer, you're struggling to find and retain good people, and watching larger competitors use tools that have always felt out of reach: too expensive, too complicated, too disconnected from how you actually work.
Nexus & Native was founded in Parker, Colorado, and we're embedded in the same market you operate in — not a distant vendor logging in from another time zone. Our commitment is to the businesses and people in this community, not to scale at the expense of the relationship.
That's what the name means. Nexus is the connection point between the tools you need and the business you're building. Native means we're rooted right here, alongside you.
Meet the founder
Merrill
Merrill brings twenty years working alongside distributors, engineers, and skilled-trade contractors across the Front Range — from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs. That experience isn't academic; it's grounded in real projects, real constraints, and real people trying to run sustainable businesses. Her foundation in the trades runs deeper still: her father and grandfather both built their livelihoods in the trades, and that generational understanding shapes how she approaches every partnership.
Early on, she led market adoption of ductless heat pump technology for Mitsubishi Electric, taking a product with under 1% market share in the Midwest and building the contractor partnerships and demand that changed how the region approached efficiency. She moved into distribution and field support with Marley, working directly alongside contractors installing and designing products. Most recently, she ran regional teams at Eaton focused on variable frequency drive technology for HVAC systems — work that demanded deep technical knowledge and the discipline to drive adoption across a competitive market.
That experience taught her three things: owners and managers are drowning in operational work they've never had tools built for; keeping great technicians and office staff is harder than ever, largely because good people get stuck doing repetitive, low-value work; and the trades move deliberately by design — which means the right tools at the right pace can unlock a real advantage for early adopters.
Nexus & Native is built on that understanding: knowing your world, respecting your constraints, and partnering with you — not selling to you.
